Early dep arture from Quito to the northwest, passing the western Andes, following the Calacalí – La Independencia Street, entering the cloud forest. We follow the street deeper into the cloud forest, finally arriving in the region of Mindo.

On the way we make stops to enjoy the landscapes and wildlife. This region is especially interesting because of its birdlife and its exotic plants. Additionally you can chose between different activities: A visit to the waterfalls, watching Kolibris, Canopy or a whitewater tour. Arrival back in Quito in the afternoon.

Day 1:   

08:00  Departure from the hotel in Quito.

09:00  Arrival in Calacalí.

09:30  Begin of the biking tour.

 Frequent stops to eat and drink and enjoy the many attractions on the way.

13:30  Arrival in Mindo, end of the biking tour and time to eat the lunchbox.

14:30  Begin of the return trip to Quito. 1

16:30  Expected arrival in Quito.
